Guest guest
Dear Friends, The long awaited Mettilotsava is barely a week away and all preparations and coordinations are in high gear. Many activities are taking place behind the scene to make this function satisfying to all participants in this unique function and seva to our Lord. All the participants are requested to practice the 3 songs posted in the web-site http://www.tatvavada.org/metlotsava/ We all will sing in chorus these 3 songs. Hence, please become familiar with these songs. Both the audio and script for these songs are given in this web-site. Like in any typical Mettilotsava in India, we will form groups of devotees, each group will follow the other with some space between the groups in the procession from the foot-hill to the top of the hill. Each group will sing their own songs. Only the above 3 songs will be sung together simultaneousely by all the groups. Allentown and Detroit groups are pretty strong with good preparations! We would like to form other groups around the following really good lead singers and you are requsted to get in touch with them if you wish to be in their groups. Arbitrarily, we have also assigned the following regions to each of these lead singers. 1. Allentown - coordination and practice session is in progress. Srinivasan (srinivasan <srinivasan) is coordinating. 2. Detroit - well coordinated group; ready to go. Muralidhar is coordinating. contact Smt. Geetha Muralidhar at Muralikurudi <Muralikurudi 3. Wash. D.C - Contact Murthy Navaratna at murthyn <murthyn 4. NJ/NY/CT area -- Contact Sri Madhusudan Bheemarao at madhusudanb <madhusudanb and Sri Hunsur Sriprasad (E-mail) at sripi 5. California - contact Sathya at mssn <mssn Song/region coordinators are requested to identify songs already available in various web-sites and provide the lists to the participants in the groups so that all are prepared well. Our over-all experience in Mettilotsava is dependent on how well we approch this divine function tuning our mind with the works of Dasa varenyaroos prior to the function. Just my 2 cents to enhance our experience! More details to follow as we draw closer to the function. Namaskaragalu Bindu +
