I was blessed to be participant of this mega event. I would like to thank Organisers Sri Bindu Madhavan, Sri GV Sreenivasan, Sri Janardhan (AnnadhAtha) ,Sri Niranjan and Sri Sridhar Padaki for the big success of this mega event. Metlotsava highlights:(NOTICED and UNNOTICED) 1. Excellent show by Smt Sandhya and Group ( Detroit group lead by Muralidhar ). 2. Taking Bhajan to heights by Sri Murthy Navaratna 3. Dasara Getup and Bhajan dance by M.S.Sathya 4. Nishidhdha vyakhyartha by Sridhar Padaki (According to Sri Padaki, whatever we eat is nishidhdha, whatever we do is nishidhdha, whatever we think is nishidhdha and finally we are all nishidhdha and Only Lord is ShudhdhA.) 5. Excellent Udupi style cooking by Sri VadishAchAr and Sripad 6. Ugabhogas of HaridhAsas by Sreedhar and Devaranams by Sriprasad. And as rightly expressed by Sri Sri H. H. SugunEndhra tIrtharu, it is a MEMORABLE event on MEMORIAL Day Week end. Every one departed with sadness as every one has to attend to their Laukika Karmas too. My many many thanks to: Sri Dr. Nagaraj Kotekal, who organised the whole event by coordinating with Temple authorities and organising venue for VMS conference Sri SudhEndhra Yapalparvi for organising shopping. It is going to be a big list and I know I am not aware of so many of you who made it possible. My big namaskaras to all of you who made it possible. Mettalothsava, Puja by Swamiji and lectures (including Hari Katha with film songs) were great. Just being with such devoted people is in itself is a great gift we all got. I hope we will continue to have this kind of gifts. What impressed me most was the way it was organized and how th teams started working together. Let's keep this spirit in VMS and start understanding Shri Madhva's philosophy and try to live accordingly. It was just great and felt vaccum when I came back home. We all must feel proud to be part of such an organization. Unless I am totally mistaken, I think Madhu is referring to Sri AppannAchArya of TTD who is heading the dAsa sAhitya project. He is the chief spirit and moving force behind this project. Sri AppanAcharya of TTD is the force behind HaridhAsasahithya and Metlotsava.
