We would like to convey our thanks to all of you and other authorities in

Sri Venkateshwara Temple for the kind hospitality and proper arrangements

extended to His Holiness Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji and his group,

Puthige Matha, Udupi during the Sri Narayana Ashtakshara Maha Mantra Yagna

performed in the Temple during the Memorial Day Weekend. Sri Swamiji wishes

to convey his happiness over the conduct of the yagna and all arrangements

provided by the Temple.

We also thank you for the opportunity given to us to participate in the

Swarna Rathothsava, Mettilotsava and Gaja Vahana Seva during the

celebrations in the Temple last weekend. We as a whole group thoroughly

enjoyed participating in these functions.

We would like to offer our services as devotees of Sri Venkateshwara in the

organization and conduct of these functions in the future years in the

Temple and we are willing to provide our feed-back in your religious and

other appropriate committees.

Mettilotsava is universally appealing to all devotees of Sri Venkateshwara,

transending the particular philosophical faiths the devotees belong to. We

once again appeal to you and other authorities in the Temple to recognize

the positive merrits of Mettilotsava and consider making this an annual

event in the Memorial Day Weekend in the Temple.

We had an opportunity to talk to Sri Srinvasalu Kamisetty, the visiting

scholar from Thirupathi in your Temple, who confirmed that Mettilotsava

takes place every year in Thirupathi as a function organized and conducted

by Thrupathi Devotsavam Board and participated by thousands of devotees. He

is very much aware of how it is conducted in Thirupathi and we request you

to consult him on this topic and record his feed-back prior to his departure

from Pittsburgh so that it will be helpful in the future discussions on

Mettilotsava in the Temple.

Namaskarams.
