Dear Devotees,

 

It is a matter of great pleasure to all of us that His

Holiness Shri Shri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji along

with His entourage will be visiting Nairobi, Kenya to

spread the message of Shri Madhvacharya.

 

Here is the programme Outline for H.H. Sri Sugunendra

Theertha Swamiji's Nairobi visit between 10th June

2002 and 15th June 2002.

 

9th June, Sunday 5:45 pm: Departure from Washington

DC, Dulles Airport

 

10th June, Monday, 8:15 pm: Arrival at Nairobi.

Will be received by reception commitee at airport.

 

10th June evening Pooja at Shri R.C. Rao's residence

 

11th June, Tuesday:

 

Morning puja at residence of Shri Balasundaram Athreya

Evening Puja, discourse and dinner at Ram Mandir,

Bhanderi Road under the auspices of Ram Mandir,

Nairobi for the public.

Programme timings:

6.30 p.m. - 7.30 p.m. : Puja

7.30 p.m.- 8.30 p.m.: Discourse on Ramayana Saramsha

8.30 p.m.- Dinner

 

12th June, Wednesday:

 

Morning Puja at Shri R.C. Rao's residence.

Swamiji committed for the full day at WCRP meting.

Evening puja, discourse and dinner at Jai Ambaji

Temple, South C, under the auspices of the Mangalorean

Brotherhood, Nairobi for their invitees.

Programme timings:

6.30 p.m. - 7.30 p.m. : Puja

7.30 p.m.- 8.30 p.m.: Discourse on Geetha Sandesha

8.30 p.m. : Dinner

 

13th June, Thursday:

Morning Puja: At R.C. Rao's Residence

Swamiji committed for the full day at WCRP meting.

Evening Puja: At a devotees residence

 

14th June, Friday:

 

Early morning: Some useful visits to Nairobi Museum,

Sathya Sai Centre, etc.

Noon puja at the residence of Mr. V.N. Srinivas

Evening: courtesy meet with Hindu Council management

committee at Hindu Bhavan at about 5.30 p.m. Swamiji

to speak on Hindu Religion.

Evening puja, discourse and dinner at Deendayal

Bhavan, Murangaa Road under the auspices of Bharatya

Swayam Sevaks / Hindu Council of Kenya for the public.

 

Evening programme timings:

6.30 p.m. - 7.30 p.m. : Puja

7.30 p.m.- 8.30 p.m.: Discourse on Hindu Gods and

Goddesses

8.30 p.m. : Dinner

 

15th June, Saturday

 

Early morning : Various temple visits (important

temples in Nairobi)

Noon puja at the residence of Mr. T.C. Srivatsan

Early evening: Hindu Youth conference at Bapa

Swaminarayan temple Haveli under the auspices of HCK

/ BSS / Bapa Swaminarayan Temple Committee.

Programme timings:

3.30 p.m. - 5.30 p.m. : Conference with Hindu Youth

5.30 p.m.- 6.30 p.m.: Evening Puja

7.15 p.m. : Depart for airport (Departure flight at

10.40 p.m.)

 

16th June, 1:45 pm: Arrival at Newark airport.

 

A report on Swamiji's Nairobi visit will be made after

returning from Nairobi.
