Dear Adhyaathama Bandhus,

 

By the grace of Sri Hari, Vayu, Gurugalu, His Holiness Sri Sugunendra

Theertha Swamiji, Puthige Matha, Udupi, will perform Sri Jayatheerthara

Aradhane in our home in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 10-11 Aug (Sat-Sun). Sri

Jayatheertha was the commentator par excellence to works of Sri

Madhwacharya. All are welcome.

 

As in the previous years, there will be Swamiji's maha pooje to Sri Vittala

Devaru in the morning, then aradhane, hastodaka to Sri Jayatheertharu,

alankara pankthi, theertha prasada (lunch, special chathurmaasa vratha

preparations ), Swamiji's discourses, talks by learned scholars from Udupi

and in our group, harikatha by Sri Sarvothama Das from Karnataka, India,

devaranaama sessions, evening thotilu pooje by Swamiji to Lord Sri Udupi

Krishna, dinner, sathsangha with sajjanaru from various provinces in the U.

S. A.

 

Due to chathurmaasa vratha, only mangoes are accepted for naivedya to our

Lord. Flowers are welcome. Please get in touch with me if you wish to

contribute any grocery items for preparing items for naivedya to our Lord,

hastodaka to Sri Jayatheertha, alankaara pankthi and brahmana samaradhane.

Items are restricted due to chathurmaasa vratha.

 

Free accommodation will be provided for out of town visitors in the homes of

our local devotees in Allentown for the nights of 9th and 10th Aug.

In I-78, take route-222, Hamilton Blvd, exit-54(A) (In I-78 west, it is 54A

and in I-78 east, it is 54)

In the exit ramp, take route-222 south, Hamilton Blvd south.

After a couple of traffic lights, left into Brookside road (Hunan Chinese

restaurent on the right in this intersection)

Go past 2 traffic lights (East Texas road and Lower Macungie road)

After 0.4 miles from 2nd traffic light, left into Princeton road.

Go past 1st stop sign, 3rd house on the right.

 

North/South

 

In I-476, take exit-33, Lehigh Valley/Allentown

Pay toll, proceed towards Allentown

Take 1st exit, route-309 south

Take exit for Hamilton Blvd and proceed as above.
