Guest guest Posted August 30, 2002 Report Share Posted August 30, 2002 Dear Sri Krishnabakthas: Here is the final program for Sri Krishna Janmaastami celebrations with His Holiness Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji and group, Puthige Matha, Udupi at the Sri Swamiji's chaaturmaasa kshethram in a serene, rural setting on a 35-acre peaceful wooded retreat in rural Pennsylvania about 18 miles south of Allentown. All are welcome. Comfortable rooms for sleeping and cold/hot water bathroom facilities are available at the aashram. However, please bring your own pillows, sheets, and sleeping bags or blankets. Men are accommodated in one side of aashram building and women & small kids are accommodated at the other side. So please pack accordingly. Program is geared for a family oriented spiritual, whole-some, relaxed retreat. Grounds of the aashram are ideal for camping too and hence, please bring camping tents and camping equipments for enhancing the camping experience for your children, whether permitting. Accommodations are free. Free accommodations in devottes' homes in Allentown are also available to those who need them. Other expenses for the retreat will be announced and donations will be sought to cover these expenses, as was done in the Mettilotsava/VMS Conference in Pittsburgh in May.
