question on bhagavatha

Bhagavatha says that veera bhadra(born out of hair of

Rudra devaru) cut the head of Daksha. Later Rudra

devaru comes and gives Daksha a head of a Goat. I have

the following questions:

 

1. Why Goat?

2. Isn't it sin to cut goat's head just to give the

head to Daksha?

3. Why didn't Rudra devaru attach the daksha's head

back instead of replacing with goat's head?
