Dear Haribhakthas,

This week started with an auspicious day of " Shri Madhva navami " and is

ending with another equally auspicious day - “Shri Vadiraja

Jayanthi”(Friday 13th Feb 2003).

Magha Shudda dwadashi was the day on which Ruju God Shri Lathavya

came down to earth, in a tiny village Hoovinakere, near Udupi, in 1480

AD to bless all devotes and to strengthen the Tatvavada. I am too

small person to narrate the mahima or glory of Shri Vadirajaru who is

none other than bhavi sameera- the would be Lord Vayu.

Shri Vadiraja spent full span of 120 years blessing all the devotes

and still continue to bless devotees, staying in the Vrandavana at

Shri Sode. But what can we do to please Shri Vadirajaru. Here is a

request with all those who would like to get blessings of Shri Rajaru.

Shri Kamadhenu Gosamrakshana Kendra, established few years back, at

Hoovinakere, the holy birth place of Shri Rajaru, is sheltering and

protecting old, orphaned and disabled cows. Feeding the cows and

protecting them from butchers’ hand is one of the utmost important duty

of all of us. We can join our hands in this great cause by extending

our help to this institute in whatever little way possible.

We, few volunteers have come up with Gograsa Nidhi scheme as follows.

On every dwadashi day, before parane, we offer one little coin,

towards Gograsa-Nidhi, for feeding these cows. The amount is not

important here, but the spirit behind that is more important. We pray

Lord Hari to bless us with more strength and resources to participate

in a bigger way and better way. Thinking of cows and offering a

little coin for feeding them on a dwadashi day is really very much

pleasing to Lord Hari, Lord Vayu and Shri Vadirajaru. In this way we

can really help a lot to this institution, at the same time it is a

very simple and novel scheme.

I request all of you to join this scheme and start offering a penny or

cent on every dwadashi day and pray Lord for the protection of cows.

Please let me know, so that I can send you reminder email on every

Ekadashi /dwadashi day. Please write back to me at bkvarna

I pray Shri Vadirajaru to bless all of us with jnana , bhakthi and

vairagya.

ShrI hari Priyatham
