A Boon for philosophy and theology enthusiasts.

 

Sri Bannanje Govindacharya is a nationally and internationally recognized

scholar with a worldwide following. He brings to bear over 5 decades of

in-depth study and contemplation under revered seers, on a wide range of

subjects like theology, philosophy, and literature. He has personally

traveled the length and breadth of the country collecting and studying

ancient palm-leaf manuscripts.

 

He has taught and guided hundreds of eager and deserving pupils, hailing

from all corners of the world. He is also a very prolific writer who has

authored or edited several thousand books, articles and research papers..

 

His discourses are extremely popular and attract record crowds. He has a

divine gift to explain even the most complex, obtruse concept in simple

terms, using logical and cogent arguments that a layman can understand and

appreciate. Using his vast knowledge and experience he is able to derive

insights that others just cannot.

 

In order to preserve this storehouse of knowledge for posterity, his

dedicated followers have been taping his speeches regularly. However, access

was difficult because the number of cassettes runs into thousands and there

was no organized effort to distribute them in countries other than India.

 

All of this is now a thing of the past. Cassettes have been coverted into

MP3 CDs and are being offered at very nominal rates. The intent is to

generate funds to support other activities like book and future audio

publishing and so on. I have enthusiastically come forward to make those

CD’s available in US and distribute them to the interested, on a no-profit

basis. The net result is that aficionados of Indian theology and philosophy

now have a treasure house of wisdom to tap into. The CDs that are currently

available for shipping represent over 1000 hours of listening and are as

The cost of each CD is $6 PER CD. If I need to ship the CD's, there will be

an additional Shipping Fees PER Shipment.

 

Alternatively if anyone were planning to come to Pittsburgh on May 24-26 for

the Mettallotsava, I can make copies of the cd’s and get it there.. But I

would need to know in advance as to who would want the CD’s. We just have 1

week left for the gathering.
