Guest guest
Namaskara, I am new to the group and came across this group by a colleague of mine. I usually don't go live into the conversations but find time to read all the mails and found it very interesting. The discussion of various topics and the tatva has inspired me to know more about my culture and especially about madhwa siddantha. But upon all this when I am questioned by a group who either wants to know or tries to just poke their nose about brahmanism (let us take madhwa brahmins here), I try to answer all their questions but somewhere in the back of my mind I still feel that I am not giving satisfactory answers or that I am naive in understanding who exactly is a brahmin. Being a strong theist, I on one hand don't like to give information that is not known to me and on the other hand would not like to put it in only to find later that the information was not accurate. In this context, I am curious or rather more inquisitive in knowing about hari, about me, being a brahmin, able to perform the duties/rites of a brahmin and in that not only letting others know who a brahmin is but also preach the omnipresence, significance of hari. Request that you could either mail to my id or to the group in common so that it could be useful to many more young and present generation brahmins who have been living in different parts of the world to know more about ourselves and also about our GOD.
