VMS Members Worm update -III; Infection continues

Dear KrishNa bhaktas,

Infection of the VMS list continues with new members continue to

be infected by the Worm. Sri Keshava Rao and Sri Janardhan Rao pointed

out their PCs are clean and that this Worm can spoof the e-mail

addresses obtained from other person's e-mail address book. The Worm

designers have been deviously clever! It makes it harder to figure who

are the members that are being infected.

 

I am still continuing the policy of temporarily disabling posting

privileges of members whose e-mail addresses send infected e-mails.

Today I have disabled the following members temporarily.

Bindu Madhavan, Bheema Rao, Dilip Rathnakar, Vani CS Rao, Saroja

Raghu, Nagaraj Kotekal, Rama3048, SRao, gurudesh and Rama Rao.

 

Hopefully the spread of the virus will stop soon!

 

Finally, a clarification on the translation of the Sri Raghavendra

swamiji's commentary on the purusha sukta. I had used the word thousand

to translate the word " sahasra " . Several members pointed out that

sahasra really means infinite number in this context. This is true and

I forgot to mention the inner meaning of the word sahasra. Thanks to

members who pointed this out.
