Guest guest
Dear Devotees, All of you are very well aware about the sacredness/importance of learning/listening the holy text " Sri Bhagavatha " which is considered as king of all puranas. It is said that at least one or half or in the worst case quarter shloka of " Sri Bhagavatha " is to be recited daily. But it would be more enjoyable to recite the shloka when the meaning is known. There are plenty of books about " Sri Bhagavatha " but none gives the meaning of each shloka as per Madhva tradition. It is really Herculean task to come up with the meaning of each shloka word by word and any such attempt would be a great service to whole madhva community. Shri Chaturvedi Prathistapanam, Padmanabha Nagar, Bangalore, has noticed this problem and is planning to take-up this great service for the benefit of madhva community. Under the able guidance of Shri S. Vedavyasaachar, the prathistapanam is planning to bring out the whole " Sri Bhagavatha " with original shloka and meaning/interpretation in five volumes. These volumes would be a great assets to each and every madhva family to learn/ understand / practice " Sri Bhagavatha " . No need to say that such a big task needs support from each and everyone in whatever the little way possible and it is our earnest request with you all to kindly participate in this maha jnana yajna and help the team to realize the project at the earliest. Shri Chathurvedi S. Vedavyasachar is a great scholar & a good orator who got the best blessings/ training by Shri Vishwesha Thirtha swamiji of Pejavara Mata. He is one of the rare jewels in the scholar's gallery who has received the classical training in Sanskrit and madhva tradition for 12 years in Shri Poornaprajna vidyapeeta. He has already brought out many useful books like " masa mahatme " explaining the various celebrations for the auspicious days in each month of the year, " Devapooja vidhana " explaining the right way to perform pooja and many other books which are very useful to each and everyone for daily practice of madhva tradition in simple terms. He has taken up this seva to help all madhvas to learn and practice " Sri Bhagavatha " and it is a great opportunity for all of us to get the best blessings of Lord Vedavyasa by participating in this great pooja to Lord Shri Hari. Those who are interested to know more about this project may kindly write to the following address or write back to me at bgkvarna.
