AN APPEAL

 

 

 

Greetings of the season. We are on a high, after the tremendous

success of

conducting different camps at various places. It was privilege for

me, as

coordinator of the team in organizing and conducting two camps at the

holy

premises of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matha, Mantralaya in association

with

Narayana Hrudayalaya and Naryana Netralaya under the guidance of Dr.

Devi

Prasad Shetty and Dr. Bhujanga Shetty.

 

His Holiness Sri Sushsmeendra Teertha Swamiji of Sri Raghavendra Swamy

Matha blessed the occasion.

 

People from all walks of life irrespective of cast and creed poured in

large numbers to avail the multi specialties such as ECG, ECHO, Blood

sugar test, Eye screening etc.

 

It was a dream come true in bringing such multi speciality equipments

close to their door steps.

 

Reflecting these memories, in the mindset we are quite familiar with,

individual effort is lauded. But more than that, I realize collective

efforts are recognized. This inspired me to form a team of like minded

people who could render their services to the human kind.

 

I meditated upon this and finally on the eve of Akshaya Tritiya dated

22.04.2004, I lit a lamp in front of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Brindavana

at

Mantralaya praying for His grace to flow in meeting our principle

objectives ,.in serving the human kind at large

 

By the grace of Sri Raghavendra Swamiji Sri Dhanvanthari Guru

Raghavendra

Charitable Trust® was formed.

 

We at Sri Dhanvanthari Guru Raghavendra Charitable Trust® have a

dream, a

dream meeting our principle objectives such as Conducting camps, free

distribution of food, medicine, clothing, text and note books …..

just to

name a few. This we call lighting of lamp and more important keeping

it

burning.

 

Until the time the Trust was formed all the funding to pay for travel,

transport along with supplies and materials needed for our project was

shared within us. We realized that we are still a part of the micro

picture. The area we would cover or rather have to cover is far bigger

than we could ever hope to reach our objectives. Which is when we

realized

we need your both spiritual and financial support.

 

Taking these parameters into consideration we passed a resolution for

raising fund by bringing out a souvenir on the auspicious occasion of

333rd Aradhana Mahotsava of our Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamiji.

 

The souvenir shall be released by His Holiness Sri Sushameendra

Teertha

Swamiji, the present Peethadhipathi of Sri Raghavendra Swami Matha,

Mantralaya.

 

May we now request you to release your advertisement in the souvenir

or

donate generously. We honestly believe that the donation adds up to

big

help in keeping the lamp burning.

 

Let us collectively join hands to do well by doing good.
