Sri Jayatheertha, also known as Sri Teekacharya, was the commentator par excellence for the works of Sri Madvacharya. Nyaya Sudha was his magnum opus. His moola brindavana is in Malkhed near Gulbharga. All are welcome. The program consists of devarapooje, aradhane, hastodaka to Sri Jayatheertha, alankara pankti, theertha prasada (lunch), lectures by scholars, devaranaama music concert in Hindustani style by Srimathi Sangeetha Katti Kulkarni (visiting from Bangalore), dinner, sathsangha with sajjanaru. As in the previous years, accommodation will be provided to out of town visitors in host homes in Allentown area. Theertha prasada will conform to the chaathurmaasa vratha austerities. Please note that only kallu sakkere (sugar candy) and vratha preparations are offered as naivedya to our Lord and hence please do not bring any fruites, coconuts etc. Flowers for pooje are welcome. Any grocery items, example, rice, jaggery, dhal, offered by devotees will be used in preparing the naivedya and theertha prasada.
