hosting Rigveda

samuhika (group) UpAkarma at their residence on Saturday Aug 28, 04 starting at

9.30 am.

 

The following main rituals of the function will be conducted by Shri Agrahara

Narasimhamurthy

from 9.30 am - 11.00 am.

 

1. Sankalpa

2. Navagraha pooja

3. Saptha Rushi AaVahane, Arghya

4. Homa

5. Yagnopavita daana, dHarana, Gayatri japa

6. Jeerna (old) Yagnopavita visarjana

7. Tarpana for Devatas, Rushis and Acharyas

8. Pitru Tarpana (for our ancestors) by eligible people ONLY

(those who don't have one or both parents).

 

 

 

11.00 am - 11.15 am A brief discourse on the " Significance of UpAkarma " .

 

11.15 am - 12.15 p.m. Taratamya bhajane

 

12.15 pm - 1.00 p.m Teerthaprasada
