SURYA GRAHANA ( Solar Eclipse ) will take place on Friday April 8th 2005.

This Grahana can be observed Southern part of North America (NJ,NY,MD,PA,VA,FL,GA,MD,

NC,SC,TN,OK,OH,LA,TX,AZ etc..)

The complete time period of GRAHANA is well known as "Punyakala" in Shastras.

Any Satkarma done in this period of ' GRAHANA PUNYAKALA' yields Sahasra Phala.

Ganga and all holy rivers' will have their Sannidhana in all waters everywhere. One who bathes in this time will have Punya of Pavitra Snana of all the holy rivers. So the Snana should be done at the beginning and end of GRAHANA. This this auspicious time to do Daana Japa and Stotra Parayana.

Uttarabhadra,Revathi, Ashvini, Bharani,Krittika, Makha,Poorvaphagluni(Pubba), Uttara, Chitra,Swathi, Vishakha Nakshatras. For the negation of this effect we can do Dana of wheet,Chana Dal and Dakshina to the Vedic Brahmin,Darshana of the Lord, Pradakshina Namaskara, Parayana, Japa etc.
