Here is a summary of the " Sudha Saurabha " release function from Sri Bemmatti

VenkateshAchArya.

We have NO words to explain about the release function!!. We never

thought it would happen in such a grand scale and a big madhva

gathering of around 8-9 thousand people.

 

ON APRIL 3rd, PhalguNa Krishna Navami, with all your support, a dream

of HH Sri VidyAmAnya teertharu on having a Sri manyAya sudhA in

kannada is completed with the release of " SUDHASAURABHA " .

 

We remembered all swamiji's (almost 15 peethadhipathis who have

helped/taken part in publication ) and around 50 scholors and donors

who donated generously to this cause. We especially thanked/remembered

Sri Vishwa Madhva Sangha in the function and also donors from other

countries, who made this dream a reality.

 

Highlights of the release function

 

- Sri Uttaradi maTha Sri SatyAtma teertharu and Sri Pejawar Vishesha

teertha swamigalA Sudha-anuvada and mangala for nearly 4+ continuous

hours on 3rd April - 8 am to 12 pm; was a wonderful event

 

- Sri Suvidyendra teertharu and Sri VidyEsh teerthara sudha anuvada on

2nd April afternoon 3 to 5 pm was great

 

- Astikya, nAstikya vAda/debate by Sri Pejawar and Sri Palimaru swamigaLu

 

- YakshyagAna-TalamaddaLe on Bhishma parva and GeetopadEsha by many

peethadhipati's

 

- Teerthaprasad (lunch) was catered to around 7 thousand people on 3rd

April

 

- Procession, Rajata - TulAbhAra and pushpavrusti for Sri ManyAya

SudhA grantha

 

- Laser show during the release function

 

- Every one did a smaraNe of a great saint/scholor/tapaswi of this

centinary Sri H H VidyAmAnya teertharu

 

Detailed report with photo's will be published very soon, within a

week. There is a plan to publish CD's and DVD's of the complete function.
