Information needed about privately run Gurukulas teaching Dvaita philosophy

ITPL_MF is an informal group of like minded people working in IT and related industries in Bangalore.

The group has started a novel scheme to promote the study and propagation of philosophy, tradition and culture of Acharya Madhva's teaching.

The team wants to provide financial help to the Gurukulas privately run by individuals under the project called " Akshara Nidhi " where once in three months, contributions are collected from all the volunteer members and given to a Gurukula.

Last time, in the month of Apr 2005, the group has donated Rs 10,000 to Shri Vedeesh Theertha Vidaypeeta, Mannuru, Gulbarga District which is providing education to nearly 35 full time in house students.

If you know any such gurukula being run by individuals / charity institutions which are looking for help, kindly provide the details to us.

The main requirements are

1) The gurukula should be engaged in training the in house students full time in Dvaitha philosophy and related subjects.

2) The gurukula should not be getting any regular financial aid from Government or any other major institutions.

Kindly pass on this message to all your friends/relatives and help us to identify the gurukulas especially those located in remote areas.
