Sri Jayatheerthara Aradhane, Allentown, July 30 - Final Program

 

Dear Devotees of Sri Hari,

By the grace of Sri Hari, Vayu, Gurugalu, Sri Jayatheerthara aradhane will be celebrated in our home in Allentown on 30 July. This is the 7th year of the aradhane in Allentown. All are welcome.

Due to chathurmaasa austerities, no fruites, no coconuts, no dry fruites are offered as naivedya to our Lord. Kallu sakkarae (sugar candy) is allowed for naivedya. Flowers are welcome for pooje.

Accommodation is available in our sathsangha homes for out of town devotees for July 29 and 30, as in the previous years. Please inform us if you are arriving on July 29 (Friday) so that we can keep dinner ready for you.

6:30-7:00 am, Praata Sankalpa Gadhya

8:30-10:30 am, Devara pooje

10:30-11:00 am, Aradhane, hastodaka to Sri Jayatheertharu

11:00-11:15 am, Homage to Late Dr. B. N. K. Sharma by his grand-daughter and scholars

11:30 am-12:30 pm, Alankaara pankti, devaranaama rendering by Srimathi Suchitra Mohan, mrudanga by Dr. Laxmisha Sridhar

1:00 - 2:30 pm, Theertha prasada

 

3:00-5:00 pm, Lectures, "Bandha Nivrutthi in Nyayasudha" by Sri Yogendra Bhat,

"Gender (stritva, pumstva) of Jiva" by Sri Kesavarao Tadipatri,

"The conception of svatantra (continuation of the series)" by Sri Jaikrishna Nelamangala,

"Sri Teekakritpaada's devotion & humility - in his words" by Sri Hunsur Sriprasad.
