Guest guest
Namaskara As I understand various mutts follow their own panchanga and there are times when Ekadashi of these mutts varies. In that case ekadashi for Mutt X would be dasami for Mutt Y.And mutt Y(on ITS dasami) offers the food prepared to Lord Hari and Mukhyprana devaru.Similarly on the very next day Mutt X(on ITS Dwadashi) would be offering but not Mutt Y.My doubts are 1.Is it like Ekadashi is not applicable to Mukhyaprana devaru and Lord Hari? 2.If the answer to the first question is no then which of the two offerings do they not accept? 3.And more importantly which Ekadashi should we fast on? Please enlighten me in this regards Regards Vikram.M
Guest guest
Yekadashi vratha applies to Shri Lakshmi and everyone below her in tharathamya. It's only Lord SriHari to whom Naivaidhya samarpana is allowed. However, due to the prasada not being offered to Shri Lakshmi and Shri Mukhya Prana Devaru, it can't be consumed, and hence normally it is not offered to Shri Hari also on Yekadashi day. ( You can't throw devara naivaidhya) Shri Shri 108 Vidhyamaanya theertharu tried his level best to make a single Yekaashi day for all Madhwas. Somehow it didn't come to the icche of Lord yet. Hope some day Shri Hari would bless us all to get out of the Mata barrier and follow a singe acarana not only in Yekadashi vratha but also in other conflicting acharana. Guest guest
I have a follow up question regarding this. Since all Devata's below Vishnu dont have deha or shareera like lower mortals, how do they perform the Ekadashi Vratha ? Is it just in their anusandhana OR do they follow a different norm (ie; other than fasting). This question can subsequently apply to other actions of the Devatha's and other Jeevas who have attained Mukthi. I have heard that Mukta Jeevas also keep performing daily tasks like Sandhyavandane, Gayathri and others similar to the Jeevas on earth, but in a Sookshmic form. In what manner do they perform these actions? please clarify if possible. Thanks Raghu [Moderators note: Good questions. I am sure it will be an interesting discussion. Guest guest
Sree Gurubyo namaha Hari : Om It may be noted that many people offer Kallu Sakkare to Paramatma on Ekadashi day and preserve it to be offered to Shri Lakshmi and other devathas during Rama Naivedya on dwadasi day. nArAyana smaranam Krishnamurthy --- Sheshagiri Rao <rshesh wrote: > > Yekadashi vratha applies to Shri Lakshmi and > everyone > below her in tharathamya.
