Guest guest
Mr. Varna and Bheemsena Rao have brought up an interesting note about bringing out dvaitha philosophy outside. I too think its the way its conveyed that matters a lot. Advaitha philosophy encourages a person to believe in himself and strongly advocates not to believe in weakness of the soul or to meditate on the doshas as can be seen from most Swami Vivekananda's speeches. He says meditating that you are nothing you become nothing and achieve nothing and first one must believe in himself and then in God. So speaking about doshas of jeevas without giving proper reasons as to why the bias is intrinsic in nature may not convince one and all as compared to the philosophy of advaitha. I think this may also be the reason why dvaitha matha has not grown in numbers as compared to no. of people following advaitha --in short-- " why to believe in a religion that speaks of doshas instead of one that encourages you to believe in your own strength " .
