The Abhisheka and Poojas will begin at 10:30 A.M. Shri Bhuvanendra Thirtha Swamiji - Shri Bhuvanendra Thirtharu is the 35th Swamiji of the Puthige Matha Parampara who lived 105 years. He was a great scholar in Samskruta and Vedanta. For His great knowledge in philosophy the King of Mysore, Krishnaraja Wodeyar, offered His Holiness elephants, horses, and precious jewels. And he offered hundreds of acres of land in Thirthahalli on the bank of Tunga River. Even now there a beautiful, huge Matha where Veda Paatha is conducted in the Divine SannidhAna of Shri Vittala Devaru.
