Guest guest
Namaskara, I am reading Shrimadbhagavatha written by Malakeda Gururayaru and Shri Brahma purana from online article. Both of these talks about the creation of the universe, manus and their dynasties. One purana is the discussion between Daksha and Brahma, while the other is the discussion between Shuka muni and King Parikshit. My query is can we consider Brahma purana as a subset (part of chapters) of Shri Bhagavatha? can someone learn and understand the Bhagavatha purana alone which has the highest value (as per the book, its alone weight is much greater then other puranas when weighed by Brahma) instead of learning other 17 puranas? what is main difference between all these puranas? are the online articles giving the right information or should we go through specific links only for the information we need to learn? Can Bhagawatha purana be read any time of the time/day/week/month or is there any restrictions on the study? Can Bhagavatha be read as a book of discussion (in the form of story) or should learn each shloka and then understand the meaning? learned people please enlighten. regards, Srinivas.
