Guest guest Posted December 28, 2005 Report Share Posted December 28, 2005 Dear Hari Bakthas, A friend of mine, his wife and we, are deeply saddend by the demise of their three year old daughter. After the funeral services held with a help of temple priest, crematorium has given 'the asti' to the parents. Its their wish to dissolve it in the Ganges going to Kashi next week. But on consulting with few, have got different views like - there are no specific samskaraas that need to be done at Ganges as this is a kid, shouldn't carry back the asthi at all, polluting Ganges with asthi is a sin as we worship Her etc. Appreciate if any one who is adept in the subject can educate further on this. best regards, Sri.
