Dear Haribhaktas

Namaskaragalu.

It gives me pleasure to inform you all that my uncle Shri Hari Narayana

Vittala Dasaru (who got

haridasa deeksha from prathasmaraneeya Shri Guru Govinda Vittala Dasaru of

Mysore),

my father Shri H.Narayana Rao and few like minded people with an urge to

propagate haridasa

sahithya have taken up a project to establish a haridasa gurukula among

others.

Please find attached a document listing out the details of this great

project. The

project is coming up in India at a place that is half way between

Mantralayam & Adoni.

The idea of this project is to propagate haridasa literature & establish a

haridasa gurukula

on the lines of other gurukulas more focusing on learning of haridasa

sAhithya. This will be first

of its kind since most of the other institutions are focused more or only on

Sanskrit literature. The focus of this project & gurukula is towards

establishing

vyAsa-dAsa sahithya samanvaya.

I am also attaching the text format of the appeal hereunder.

I earnestly request all the haribhaktas on behalf of the committee to

provide their

unstinted co-operation and make the institution a reality.

For more details on the project you can directly contact me or any of the

other members at the phone nos. given in the appeal.

Thanks & Regards

Prasanna Krishna

To all the Spiritual Seekers, Devotees, Hari Bhaktas and Philanthropists

Here is the greatest and a lifetime opportunity for all of you to involve in

a “Divine Project”. This will undoubtedly be a “Value added, God Sent

Opportunity” – to participate in the noble task of upbringing a ‘National

Spiritual Center’, the details of which are given in the following lines:

An extent of 11.54 acres of land has been acquired for the establishment of

“Shri Purandara Ashrama Shrine” and a “Haridasa Spiritual Center” under the

auspicies of “Shri Purandara Vittala Seva Trust”, a Registered Public

Charitable Trust adjoining state highway of

Adoni-Madhavaram-Raichur;Adoni-Madhavaram-Mantralayam in the A.P.-Karnataka

border surrounded by holy pilgrim centers like the “World Renowned

Mantralayam”. This area of land is selected mainly because of its calm and

serene atmosphere endowed with natural, radiating waves of healthy and

spiritual streams of thoughts.

This entire land was donated by Shri H.Hanumantha Rao alias Shri

Harinarayana Vittala Dasaru, an initiated disciple in Haridasa cult by Late

Shri Guru Govinda Vittala Dasaru of Mysore, a direct descendent in the

Haridasa Lineage of Bhrugu Maharshi incarnate, Shri Vijaya Dasaru.

“Shanku Sthapana” function for the entire project was carried out

ceremoniously with all the grandeur by “H.H. Shri Sushameendra Teertha

Swamiji”, the pontiff of Shri Raghavendra Swamy Mata, Mantralayam on the

auspicious day of “Shri Narasimha Jayanthi”, i.e. 22.-5-2005 by invoking the

full blessings of The Celestial Powers for early completion of the Project

in all respects. Works such as land leveling, digging of bore well have

already been completed paving way for the construction activity. A

temporary shed is also erected to store the building materials and also to

house the watchman and other workers. A RCC building is already under

construction to serve as residential accommodation for the Managing Trustee

and also to facilitate carrying out the Trust activities.

In the first stage of construction at the “Holy Shrine of Purandara

Ashrama”, the following Sannidhanams will be established:

1. An idol of Shri-Bhu sametha Shri Srinivasa, the Lord of Seven Hills

and

Bhu Vykuntapathi.

2. An idol of Shri Anjaneya Swamy, the Frontier Personality in

executing the

Universal activity of The Creeator, Lord Shri Hari

3. The Holy Mruththika Brundavana of Jagadguru Shri Raghavendra Swamy

4. An idol of The Great Sage & Bhakthi Yogi – Narada incarnate, Shri

Purandara Dasaru, the Pioneer of Haridasa Movement.

Having created the spiritual presence of the above deities in the Ashrama,

the following main activities will be taken up by Shri Purandara Vittala

Seva Trust (Regd.) in order of preference:

1. Propagation of Haridasa Literature in many languages, viz. English,

Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil & Marathi for the benefit of Mankind as a

whole by a team of dedicated and highly capable scholars

2. Establishment of “Haridasa Sahithya (Literature) Study Center” and

also a

Vidya Peeta.

In the second and following stages, Pravachana Mandira, Gosahala, Old Age

Homes, Cottages for visiting Hari Bhakthas will be established. Tulasi and

Pushpavana and growing up of important and spiritually significant trees and

plants to achieve the environmental purity are also planned. Facilities to

perform rituals like Marriage, Upanayana, Apara Karma, etc. will also be

provided.

In a nutshell, the activities at the Asharama will be conducted from Brahmi

Muhurtha till Night resting in accordance with the established norms and

practices underlined in the Haridasa Sampradaya, to facilitate Dharma-Karma

for the participants with an ultimate goal to please Lord Shri Hari through

His Men.

For the above mentioned great project to materialize there is a financial

need of high volume. Such great task is rendered possible only with

generous help, co-operation and support from the devotees and philanthropic

persons. Hence we earnestly appeal to the devotee community and

philanthropists all over the country and abroad to come forward with their

generous support and financial help, besides inspiring others in their

contact to do so, so as to enable us to accomplish this Gigantic Project as

early as possible and dedicate the same to the entire devotee community.

Your donations in cash/kind will be acknowledged with the gratitude and the

same will be offered at the lotus feet of the ‘Indweller of Haridasa, Shri

Purandara Vittala’ with humble prayers invoking Lord’s abundant blessings to

you all.
