It is very important that we should have the knowledge of Tattvaabhimani devathas. The first 26 Kakshas in Taratamya are the only devathas who control different parts of our body. The main Niyamaka or controller of all the organs in our body is Sri Hari, Lakshmi, Brahma/Vayu & Bharathi/Saraswathi. PLEASE NOTE: Most of the tattvanama/Abhimaani devatha below was taken from different pravachanas. If you find any tattvanama/organs corresponding to Abhimaani devatha missing who control our body, please reply & ADD to the list below. Secondly, if you find any errors, please correct by posting it to the list. TATTVANAMA-------------ABHIMAANI DEVATHA 1. S Raghavendran, SMSO publication # 132) This short work was done by Sri Kalyani devi at the time of Srimad Acharya's period. It consists of 5 shlokas & the 6th one being the conclusion by prayer. Srimad Acharya in Nirnaya states in 1- 80: tAratamyaM tato GYeyaM sarvocchatvaM harestathA | tatadvinA na kasyApi vimuktiH syAt.h katha~nchana || The gradation amongst the jivas should be known. Sri Hari is the most supreme, should be understood correctly & positively. When this Jnanam about the unique & distinct supremacy is not known, then there is no chance at all for liberation from samsara. Taking this mandate of Srimad Acharya, with all respect & reverence, the most virtuous Sri Kalyani Devi has done with holy work. Since the two sandhis deal with the supremacy of Sri Hari as well as Sri Vayu as Jivoththama, this work would be highly pertinent to be noted at this context. viShNussarvottamo.atha prakR^itiratha vidhiprANanAthAvathokte brahmANI bhAratI cha dvijaphaNipamR^iDAH cha sriyaH ShaT.h cha viShNoH | sauparNIM vAruNI parvatapaitanayA chendrakAmAvathA.asmAn.h prANo.atho yo.aniruddho ratimanuguravo daxashacyau cha pAntu || 1. shrI viShNu sarvottama---- Vishnu is far far superior to all in all respects, who is only independent all are under His control. 2. shrI lakShmI nityamuktaLu----- Lakshmi who is infinite times lower to Vishnu & superior to all jivas. She is equal in respect of existing space & time with Vishnu & is called as Samana. 3. brahma vAyu nirdoShigaLu------ Brahma & vAyu. Sri Vayu attains Brahma's position & then attains Moksha. From that point, it is said that Sri Vayu is little lower to Brahma & aslo the sAdhana for Brahma at that time is one kalpa more than Sri Vayu. They are crore times lower to Mahalakshmi. 4. sarasvatI, bhAratI (level 1-4 are called parashuklatrayaru)-----wife of Brahma & Vayu.. Since Sri Bharati attains Saraswathi's position & then attains moksha, it is spoken that bhArathi is little lower to Saraswathi. Further one kalpa sAdhana is more to Saraswathi than Bharathi. 5. garuDa, sheSha, rudra------- garuDa, SheSha attains Moksha from their position. Rudra attains the position of Shesha & attains Moksha. All the three, are 100 times lower to class 4. 6. jAmbavatI, bhadrA, nILA, kALindI, mitravindA, lakShaNA (shrI kriShNa's 6 wives) ------Jambavathi is little superior to other five because she has avesha of Mahalakshmi. 7. sauparNI, vAruNI, pArvatI---- wife of Garuda, Shesha & daughter of ParvatarAja, i.e. pArvatI.------ pArvatI gets the position of vAruNI & then reaches Mukthi. Guest guest
Namaskara, I have a question on the 19th j, 27th kaksha of Taratamya. Because I am still in early stages of learning of Madhva siddhantha. I am unable to understand how Rahu/ketu came in 19th kaksha & rAkshasarus, asurarus came in the 27th kaksha. I tried to listen to different pravachanas on Taratamya, but I did not get the answer yet. I would request the knowledged persons to help us understand the Taratamya. Secondly, I found couple errors & asked Sri Yogeendra Bhat from NJ Sri Krishna Brindavana (Sri Puttige Matha). > 3. VijnAna tattva----------- Vayu & Bharathi, Soma (Chandra) Soma is Vayu. I misunderstood from the pravachana as Chandra. > 18. Panchabhuta vAyu (air)-------Mitranamaka Surya(Adithya) Panchabhuta vAyu ------- Pravaha Vayu. Incase, if any of you find any other errors or would like to add the list of tattvanama/ Abhimaani devathas, I request you to kindly write.
