Madhvanavami on Feb 11th 2006 from 9 AM - 6 PM at Livermore Temple. Please see

that attached flyer

for all the details. It is an all day program with stothra pathana, rathotsava,

discourses,

alankara pankti for priests and Madhva elders, devarnama recital and taratamya

Bhajane. Please

participate and get the blessings of Shri Hari,Vayu,Gururgalu.

 

We will need volunteers for food preparation,

serving, and other tasks. We will start food preparation in the morning at 7 AM.

We will be

performing annadAna to the general public also. We need your help in making the

program a big

SHREE MADHWA NAVAMI.

The day on which Sri Madawacharya entered Badari

At Udipi at Shree Ananateshwara temple, Sri Acharya

was performing " Upadesha " to learned disciples on " Ithareya

Upanishad " . Rudraadhi Devathas, who heard his upadesha and pleased,

withecstasy poured " Parijaatha " flowers on him and Acharya became

" Adrushya " . A board could be seen even now indicating the place of

Adrushya with his idol at the top of the place at Shree Ananteshwar temple.

 

Sumadhwa Vijaya ManagaLa., Abhisheka, Rathotstava are

performed at various places.- Brahmins are fed- One should listen from

Pundits the History of Shree SarvaJnachar.

Abramam Bhangarahitham Aajadam Vimalam Sadaa|

Aananada Theertha Mathulam Bhaje tapatrayaaapahaM||

It is said that Sri Hari out of his own will created

this world. But without any benefit to Him whatsoever. But he sustains

it also. Why?. This question is often asked.

The purpose of creation is to bring out and establish

the very hidden individuality of Jivas. Although every Jiva is

endowed with " swaroopa anananda " to taste, it is to be born in this world,

go through the mill of

miseries, do saadhana, and perform attendant duties.

Thus to make every Jiva, according to its own deservedness, express its

individuality is the very purpose of this crweation. This idea is expressed

by sri madhwacharya in Tatparya NiRNaya as " Thanumruthu SwaBhaava

samBhoothaye " The all compassionate Lord makes every Jiva enjoy its natural

bliss through creation. Only to cater to this, God creates and

sustains.
