Guest guest
Hare Srinivasa| Today, Friday - 10th Feb 2006 is holy day of Magha Shudhdha dwadashi. It is on this holy day, 526 year back in 1480 A.D Shri Lathavya Ruju Devathe came down to Earth to bless all pious souls. The very act of appearing on the earth itself is very unique and astonishing, thus indicating that the child is extra ordinary and not a common human being. The life history of Shri VadirajaTheertha is full of many unique and wonderful incidents including the disapperance from this Earth. His contribution to Dvaita Vedhantha, Kannada, Sanskrit and Tulu Literature are unparallel. On this oholy day, 14 years back Shri Sode swamiji started the Shri Kamadhednu gosamrakshana Kendra to take care of old, disabled and deserted cows. With the kind help of many of you, the Kendra has become a peaceful shelter for many cows, many of them otherwise would have been victims of butchers. On this occassion, I convey my sincere thanks to all those who helped us to take up and sustain this noble cause. This year Shri swamiji inagurated another noble scheme of encouraging the kids to learn the sthothras at the very young age. By learning these powerful sthothras and reciting them regularly everyday, the kids will get rid of all the difficulties & problems in their study, health, concentration, memory power, job search etc. The scheme is as follows. For girls, they have to sing " Shri Laxmishobhane " and for boys they have to recite " Shri Vishnu sahasra nama " and Shri Dasavathaara stuthi " . The awards are as follows. 6year kid - Rs 501/ + certificate + gift 7 year kid - Rs 301 + certificate + gift 8 year kid - Rs 301 + certificate + gift. The examination will be conducted once in every three months and there is no restriction on number of attempts. There will be 8-10 centers throughout Karnataka and kids can attend the oral test in any of the center convenient to them. You are all requested to convey this to all of your relatives, friends and other like minded people and encourage the kids and parents to participate in this yojana and get the blessings of Shri Hari Vayu Gurugalu. For the Kamadhenu Gosamraxana Kendra, there are two schemes to participate and help to protect the cows from butchers. 1) Gograsa Nidhi: You may contribute one coin on every dwadashi day before parane towards " Gograsa " . The collected amount can be handed over to the Kendra after one or two years or at your convenient time. Please note that it is not the amount, but your sradhdha and anusamdhaana is more important and on dwadashi day you are praying Lord Hari to help you to protect the old and disabled cows. 2)Nithya Gograsa Seva: You may sponsor the expence of feeding all the cows on any particular day in your name / your dearer's name. We will do the seva in your name on the day you specified, may be your's/your dearer's birth day/ marriage day / parent's ceremony day. you may also opt of life long seva wherein the cows will be fed in your name on the specified day lifelong. The contribution would be kept in the fixed deposit and the interest would be utilised for feeding and taking care of cows. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all those who have participated in our schemes and supported us all these years. May Shr Vadiraja Guru Amthargatha Shri Laxmi Hayavadana bless all of you with more strenth & determination to support such noble causes and protect the cows from the butcher's cruel hand. The contribution towards oneday gograsa is $11/ and contribution towards life seva is $100/. You may kindly send your contribution to any of the following address with an email to me, specifying the day, name and other details. For those who are in US - mark the check to Satkarya and send to SATKARYA 1717, Greenwich Ave, TROY, MI. In India : mark the check to Shri Kamadhenu Go samrakshana Kendra and send to Manager, Sode Vadiraja Mata Car Street, Udupi, Karnataka, India. Let us all pray Lord LaxmiHayavadana to bless us with more strength and determination to continue our sadhana in a better and improved way. May Lord Udupi Krishna bless all of us with more strength and willpower to fight against cow slaughtering. May Shri Vadiraja Swaniji bless all of us with clear jnana, and ability to distinguish the ajnana, mithyajnana. namaskAra B.Gopalakrishna
