Guest guest
Dear Devotees, Namaskara. On March 14th, 2006 there will be a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse (a dimming of the Moon). The period of time of the eclipse is called the “Punya Kaala.” This is the sacred time for doing punya karmas and earning punya, as stated in Shastras. Everyone must take bath at the beginning (after Moon Rise) and end of the eclipse time, this will be equivalent to Pavithra Snana. The presence of Abhimaani Devataas of Ganga and all other sacred rivers will be there in all water as stated in PuraNas. Everyone has to fast and do Japa, Pooja, and Stotra PaaraayaNa to get special Blessings of this auspicious time. Any Punya Karma done in this period yields multiple times of Phala and removes all doshAs.
