Dear devotees - Namaskara. This is the special addition about Bichchaale. I

am attaching the picture of Sacred Bichchaale Gururayara Brindavana. Please

have the Darshana of the Sacred Bichchaale Gururayara Brindavana. This

Sacred picture is sent by Govindaraj K R , one of the devotees of this

website. Many thanks to Govindaraj

Background:

The devotional sacred routine of Sri Appanacharya and the kind affection of

Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru are described in

Mantralaya (115).

Meaning:

At the fag end of the Phaalgunamaasa , I offer my Pranams to Maasaabhimani

Deva Govinda. Slowly the Sun is too bright, summer is blazing to make

preparations for the arrival of the rainy season. As soon as the word rain

comes to our mind, we think of Shraavanamaasa, the full flow of the

Tungabhadra river and the affection of Mantralaya Rayaru towards the

Bichchaale Great Bhakta Sri Appanacharya. Our heart will throb with

sanctity. Appanacharya a great devotee of Sri Rayaru, a true Gnyaani, a

perfect poet and pandit with imagination and creative power. Sri

Appanacharya is completely blessed by Mantralaya Rayaru. I think it is my

prime and sacred duty to introduce Bichchaale to our devotees.

Manchaale Bichchaale names look similar. Bichchaale is very near to

Manchaale. " Manchaale Ajjappa - Bichchaale Appanna " are popular to the

world. The Guru Shishya Sambandha (Relation) is a model to the whole world.

They look like the two faces of a coin, a divine pair of knowledge is a

record to the whole world. The day on which Diwan Venkanna handed over the

village Manchaale to Sri Rayaru, Manchaale became Mantralaya owing to the

Mantra Siddhi and Mantra Shakti. From that day Mantralaya became the most

dearest place to the devotees,Dasas and Sajjanas.

Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu for the sake of Appanacharya was always

going to Bichchaale which is situated on the other side of the Tungabhadra

river.

It is common in the world that the Shishyaas go to Guru, but here

Gurusarvabhouma went to Bichchaale to meet Shishya Appanacharya and indulged

in talks with several matters pertaining to Bhakti-Gnyaana-Vairaagya. When

we simply imagine all this our eyes will fill with tears. That what a great

personality, Stalwart of devotion is our Appanacharya, that Rayaru himself

was going to him. So Kind and affectionate our Rayaru is towards

Appanacharya.

Fully satisfied with the sanctum of Bichchaale they both used to sit on the

stone platform on the bank of Tungabhadra river and talked together.Days

went on like this !

How beautiful the days were ! what an amount of Punya that stone platform

has acquired on the bank of Tungabhadra. Intermingling of the two souls,

hearts and the minds of devotional Values-the credit goes to the Punya of

Bichchaale, Tungabhadra and the fortune of our Appanacharya.

When Rayaru was about to enter the Brindavana in Mantralaya,on that

particular moment Appanacharya did not go to Mantralaya owing to the full

spate and roaring of Tungabhadra. With sorrow, anxiety, eager and devotion,

remembering Rayaru Appanacharya paid regards to Tungabhadra saying

Gurustotra in an extempore (Aashu kavitva) while crossing the river. By the

time Appanacharya reached Mantralaya, the Brindavana was in the completing

stage. Appanacharya could not spell out more with grief. Rayaru completed

saying SAAKSHI HAYASTOTRAHI sitting in the Brindavana.

This is all known to the Devotees.

Daily Sri Appanacharya was crossing the river Tungabhadra to reach

Mantralaya to get Rayara Darshana. He was unable to live for a day without

the Darshana of Rayara Brindavana. So one day Mantralaya Mandira Guru

Raghavendra told him, some times the river will be flowing in spate- instead

of coming to Mantralaya ,take the Moola Mruttika and do the pratisthhaapana

of the Brindavana on the bank of the Tungabhadra, that too on the stone

platform where they both were sitting and talking. I will be there only.

So Appanacharya acted as per the wordings of Mantralaya Rayaru in Bichchaale

and spent the time in that sanctum in performing the Sacred Seva of Sri

Mantralaya Rayaru. What a meaningful and Saarthhaka

(useful) life Sri Appanacharya lead in Bichchaale. The whole sacred incident

of the stone platform in Bichchaale is always evergreen.

The Brindavana is open to the mother nature as a mark of Rayaru sitting

there. Daily Abhisheka, Pooja and Hastodaka are continued even today in

Bichchaale.

The Darshana of Bichchaale Rayara Brindavana is punykara. It is here that

our Sri Sushameendrateerthatu received the Yati Ashrama by Sri

Sujayeendrateertharu in front of Bichchaale Rayara Brindavana. Appanacharya

you are really great, we are highly indebted to you for Sri Guru Stotra. We

are bent with gratitude that you have rendered a great service, will always

remembered in the history as long as the Sun and the Moon are there.

Dear devotees please have the darshana of the sacred Bichchaale Gururayara

Brindavana.
