We have heard elders say that astrology and ayurveda are practical and easily

verifiable proof of the validity of scriptures. Many of this group might have

already heard of the fascinating subject of Nadi Astrology.

Perhaps those who have not heard of it may benefit from it. It helps us know

what we were in our previous life, what we will be in our next life, which

career is suited for us, why we suffer from major illness or problem if any,

which mantra will help us overcome problems, the time and nature of our death,

whether we will perform sadhana for moksha etc.

 

Sage Agastya had written down on palm leaf manuscripts the biodata of a large

number of people from all over the world. The manuscripts are in Tamil. Men and

women have to give their right and left thumb impressions respectively to the

Nadi astrologer on a piece of blank paper. No other details are necessary. The

thumb impression of every individual is unique with different whorls and lines

and stars. From this, the Nadi astrologer will take out the related manuscript

and read out your name, wife's name, parents' name, number of children,

occupation, status in life, solutions to problems, your religion, your caste,

your nationality etc. He will also draw your horoscope. It will match exactly

with what you have at home.

 

The fascinating part: Nadi astrology validates jeeva-jeeva bheda,God's

omnipotence, the total control that God has on our lives, that our good and bad

actions every second of our lives are being monitored continuously, that our

fate had been decided long, long ago, that every single event in this universe

is planned and not an accident.

 

The manuscripts written long, long ago contain references to television,

software, journalism, the latest medical facilities available only in U.S.A.,

sports, politics, practically everything in our modern world. Sage Agastya had

used his trikala jnana to help mankind and also give a warning.

This astrology is popular in Tamilnadu and lots of people, including Muslims and

Christians, and people from Japan and other countries go to Chennai to know

about what is written about them in the manuscripts. Japanese names like Fukuda,

Akimoto, are clearly written in them. Many people from such countries and those

of some sections in our country are told that they are born in such

circumstances, without the fortune of praying to gods like Vishnu and Shiva,

because in their previous life they had not followed rules laid down for achara

and prayers.

 

Many of my relatives from Udupi had sent by post to me their thumb impressions

and I had sought out their manuscripts and all the details were correct. In one

case, the Nadi reader showed me the manuscript relating to my uncle, Nagaraj

Hebbar. I can read Tamil and found in the manuscript a conversation between Sage

Agastya and some of his disciples regarding my uncle. One disciple says " Guruve

nillum " ( " Guru, please stop " ) and relates some of the problems my uncle faced in

the late 1990s. Sage Agastya says " I know. But Nagaraj will overcome them soon

if he does the following... "
