Many of you may be knowing about Sri Srinivasa Vaidya who created pictorial life history book of Shri Raghavendra Swamiji and Shri JayaTheertha Swamiji. Added to this series, now one more book on Shri Vyasaraja Theertha, named as " Shri Vyasaraja Katha Chandrika " will be released as per following details.

Venue : Shri Poornaprajna Vidyapeeta.

Date & Time : 29-June- 2006, Thursday morning 8:30AM

Book Release by: Shri Sathyathma Theertha swamiji of Uttaradhi mata.

About the author: Shri Srinivasa Vaidya is a senior citizen, retired from the bank services. With a great ambition of contributing something unique to the madhva community, he dreamt the idea of creating pictorial life history of great saints and Haridasas in the line of " Amara Chitra Katha " which will be very useful and effective media to educate the younger generation about the great swamijis / haridasa and their miraculous life history. I am sure every one of you agree that the visual media is the best one to have deeper impact and long lasting impression in children. As of now there is no pictorial books available on any madhva saints or haridasas and Shri Vaidya is dedicating himself to fill this void. A computer illiterate, started learning computer after his retirement from the service and quickly mastered the graphics design and painting in PC. He has already created life history book of Shri Raghavendra Swamiji and Shri Jayathiirtha which were well received by the community. Now he is adding one more flower to this garland of " Haridasa Chitra Katha Malika " . His next plan is to create life history book on Shri Vadirajaru, Shri Sripadarajaru, Shri Vijayeendraru and so on. Even at this age of 60+, he is working hard to collect all the materials, photos, details related to the life history of various saints.

I hope each one of you appreciate his unique contribution in propagating Madhva philosophy and encourage him by giving wide publicity about his books.
