Community Living - Madhva Nilayam - How about madhva flats?

As you all know, sometimes back there was an initiative for forming our own layout which would help all of us to pursue our Sadhana in all walks of life.

However with the rapid growth of Bangalore and the hike in the land price, probably it would be very difficult for many of us to find a suitable land within affordable price within the city limits and also nearer to the spiritual center like Vidyapeeta or Uttaradhimata.

Probably this is the high time to think of the alternate arrangement of going for " Madhva Flats " instead of madhva layout. You might have seen that this theme is successfully being exploited by some of the Srivaishnavas groups. They are forming their own " Nilayam " with 15-20 houses/flats in one building. I need not say the advantage of the community living. Especially if both husband and wife are working, it would be very nice to live in apartments as the kids and the seniors( parents & in laws) both are well secured and also get good friends with the neighbours. With the individual houses, both the senior citizens and the kids suffer with isolation and security too.

There was a proposal by one of our friend to promote this idea of " Madhva Nilayam " . He has seen a apartment nearer to Vidyapeeta which would be ready in few months, but not yet booked/occupied by any one. The very positive point is that it is very near to Vidyapeeta and that gives us a lot of opportunity for spiritual development for the whole family - kids, adults and seniors. We can have all the Satsangas at our own basement, have satsangas and invite pandits from Vidyapeeta for pravachanas, celebrate all the aradhanas. We can conduct classes for kids, adults, ladies, seniors and so on………

The apartment is ready for occupation in Sept -Octo 2006, next 2-3 months.

There are only 12 apartments, 4 two bed room and 8 three bed room.

It is four floor and each floor contains only three houses : one two bed room and two three bed room house

The cost is 30.25 Laks for two bed room( 1020 Sq.FT) and 41.5 laks for three bed room( 1450 Sq. FT) (rough prices).

Nearest bus stops : Seetha circle, BSK 3rd Stage water Tank

Vidyapeeta is nearly 1.3 KMs from this location.
