Eighth World Assembly of WCRP at Japan & Sri Swamiji's Badri yaatra...

Dear HariBhaktas, By the grace of Hari,Vaayu,GurugaLu all the functions like Upakarma, Sri Krishna Janmastami (Chandramaana) at Sri Venkatakrishna Kshetra, Phoenix, went on very well. At this point of time, we would like to inform all devotees about two major upcoming events. WCRP : Eighth World Assembly of WCRP ( World Conference of Religions for Peace ) will be held at Kyoto Japan from Aug 26 - 27. This Assembly is a time for multi-religious action. Advocacy for peace will take place on the highest levels: religious leaders from zones of conflict (Iraq, Israel/Palestine and Sudan) will come together in special working groups to cooperate for peace. Religions for Peace Inter-Religious Councils will

share best practices and become better equipped for action on the ground. Our beloved His Holiness 1008 Sri Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji was given a special invitation to attend this event. But since Sri Swamiji is in Chathurmasya Vrita at Mumbai they are not able to attend and grace this occasion. On behalf of Sri Swamiji their representative Sri Prasanna Acharya (Secretary to Sri Swamiji) and Sri Keshav Raj (NJ) will be attending this Assembly at Japan. He will pass on the message from Sri Swamiji to the Assembly. Sri Swamiji's active involvement in this peace process is really commendable. Swamiji's Badri Yaatra : As we have already
