Dear Sri Hari Bhaktas,

By the blessings of Sri Hari Vayu & Gurugalu, the function turned out to be a very memorable one and we all had a very enjoyable experience. Despite the other major Kannada world sammelana held during the same weekend, unprecedented number of Haribhaktas from many far off places from California to Boston to Carolinas attended the mettilotsava function. Even the weather cooperated (there were concerns due to Hurricane Ernesto ); it turned out that not a drop of water fell after Saturday 3 PM when we started arriving in the Laurel Hill State Park

Some photos were taken during the occasion, but it does not do much justice, to describe the very enjoyable experience all of us had during the week end. Few amateur Video clips do give a little glimpse of the activities.
