Pandit Tampraparani Srinivasacharya, Bangalore is a scholar in Vedanata, Dasasahitya, Vyakarana and Nyaya schools.

He underwent a major heart operation on 14th Sept 2006 at Narayana Hrudayala,Bangalore. The duration of the surgery exceeded 10 hours. He is aged about 47yrs and has two sons (both are pursuing vedanta studies in the same direction ashis father).

Sri Srinivasacharya is a disciple of late Sri Pandit Jalihal Srinivasacharya,who was a disciple of the great Sri Satyadhyana theertha SWamiji.

Pandit Srinivasacharya has authored a number of books In Sanskrit andKannada. He has continued the tradition of Gurukula system. He is an ardentfollower of Dharma principles and leading a unique orthodox and spiritual life.

A few weeks back he got admitted to H'ptal after complaining severe chestpain.He was diagnosed of having damage in ascending aortic artery (a very raretype of damage to the main blood supply system in the body - so rare it occurs 4in 1 lakhs persons).

Technical term: - Aortic Dissection - with extension of dissection into rightbrachiocepchalic artery - right and left common carotid arteries - celiac axis,SMA and 1MA - both renals are seen arising from the false mulumen.

Such was the magnitude of the operation that during the operation - 40bottles of blood was given. After the surgery he was kept in ICU for 3 days.
