I think we should strongly oppose this kind of bad propaganda by BBC and Shree Shree Swamiji and other scholars should respond to iit strongly and also we should strongly condemn institutions who do wrong propaganda about Hinduism to the world at large. But, is this not what Acharya Madhwa and we the followers of dvaita siddhanta believe in? Pancha Bheda is the truth of life and that is what is being used by the media and others. Before we start reacting, is this not the time to introspect and reason out as to why such mass conversions are happening or for that matter why such issues are coming out in the media. Due to various practices followed then and even now, the so called lower caste are denied social dignity. This is the practical situation and hence not a lie as reported by the media. Of course, the reasons and the logic is something people may not know or understand, but that does not take away the fact that there is a social discrimination followed and pursued by some sections of the society whcih is creating harm to the hindutva philosophy. I am sure i have made my point clear and i also understand that this may not go well with a lof of forum members, but this is my humble opinion. I hope this does not escalate any further than the dicussion board. Warm Regards and namaskaras to all the members.
