All of you know the unbelievable and unparallel contribution of Shri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejavara mata to themadhva community. Shri swamiji has opened number of institutions and serving thecommunity by all means in the field of education, medical treatment, hostel forstudents, Go samrakshana and so on. One can undoubtedly say that Today madhvasociety is alive and proud just because of Shri Pejavaraswamiji.

 

Shri Swamiji started Pornaprajna vidyapeeta 50 yearsback when most of us are not yet born. Shri swamiji's hard work andcontinuous efforts had really giving out fruits, producing lot of panditsevery year and they are spreading Shri Acharya's teaching in all cornersof the country.

 

On this holy occasion of "Utthana Dwadashi", let us alltry to join Shri swamiji in whatever the little way we can and try to strengththe activities being carried out by Shri Poornaprajna Vidyapeeta. Please findhere a small appeal by Shri Haridasa Bhat, a great vidwan, well known for hisdown to earth personality and simplicity.

The PurnaprajnaVidyapeetha has been rendering yoeman services for the preservation and thedevelopment of Sanskrit, Indian Philosophy, and Indian culture over the last fifty years. In this Institution founded by Shri Vishveshatirtha Swamiji of Pejawara Matha,over 500 students are studying over a course spread over 15 years. Thestudents join at the tender age of 7 or eight years and by the time they finishthe course they are in their early twenties and pass out as Vidwans andscholars. During this period they are housed, fed and educated completely on afree basis, all the expenditure on this account being met by the Vidyapeetha.

Keeping the need ofthe times in mind, the Vidyapeetha has made provision for the training of itsstudents in the use of computers. The aim is to give training to thestudents in the use of computers andthereby enable them to make use of technological advancements.This programme has been running for the last2 years. At present we have 6 computers and teachers from the IT sectorare coming and imparting instruction to the students on a voluntary basis.However, the computers have become old and there is a great necessity forreplacing them. There is also the need for acquiring more computers,and so the need is for purchasing at least 10 units. It is also proposed topurchase a L.C.D. projector as further aid to students in theirtraining to express themselves more eloquently.

This is an appeal toall friends and well wishers to generously help in the acquisition of thesecomputers and persuading their friends to help in this cause. Youcould contribute to this cause in any one of the followingways.

· Donating any (new or used one) equipments like computer, it’sparts like key board, mouse, monitor, motherboard

· Donating in Cash to help buy these equipments.

· If your company is disposing any of the computers/laptops etc forNGO/educational institutions with nominal charges, please inform us to persuefurther
