Dear Sri Hari Bhaktas,

By the grace of Sri Hari, Vayu, Gurugalu, Bhaava Bodha Vidwath Sabha (BBVS) will be held in the august presence of Sri Sathyaathama Theertha Swamiji, Uthiradi Matha, during Sri Ragothama Theertha Aradhane in Manampoondi on the banks of Pinaakini river near the town of Thirukoilur in Tamilnadu in India on Dec 30 (ekadashi) and Dec 31 (mukkoti dwadashi). All are welcome. This is the 7th year this Sabha is held in the Moola Brindavana Complex of Sri Ragothama Theertha. Funds for this Sabha are provided every year by a few active devotees in the Vishva Madhva Sangha in the US thru the Bhava Bodha Vidwath Sabha Trust established for this purpose. Organizational assistance for this event are provided by Sri Ananthan, SMSO Sabha in India as well as our own Sri Raghavendra Rachuri, Sri C. R. Madhusudhanrao and Sri Murthy Navarathna in Bangalore.

Usually, after Sri Moola Rama devara pooja and tapta mudra dhaarana by Swamiji, the Sabha starts in the evening of ekadashi (this year it is Dec 30). Typically, there are about 8000-10,000 devotees and it is a very elevating, marvelous spiritual experience just to be present among this gathering of scholars, devout devotees in front of the moola brindavanas of Sri Ragothama Theertha and Sri Sathyapramoda Theertha. After the talks by scholars and Swamiji, there will be devaranaama jaagarene all thru the night. Devotees then take bath in the river Pinnakini and do pradakshina namaskaara to the brindavanas. Swamiji would normally start the grand abiseka to Sri Ragothama Theertha brindavana and then subsequently to Sri Sathyapramoda Theertha brindavana about 3 am on dwadashi (Dec 31). This is a spiritually exhilarating experience to witness this abiseka while the focus is on Sri Ragothama Theertha and Sri Sathyapramoda theertha, and Sri Hari and Vayu devaru immanent in these yathis, and the devotees thankful for the profound blessings they had experienced in their lives. While alankaara is done to the brindavanas, Swamiji performs pooja to Sri Chathuryuga Murthy Sri Moola Rama Devaru followed by hastodaka to Sri Ragothama Theertha and Sri Sathyapramoda Theertha. The theertha prasada paarane is typically about 7 or 8 am. After a little bit of rest, Sabha reconvenes and rest of the scholars give their talks. The Sabha concludes with aaseervachana by Swamiji.

Video recording of the Sabha and aradhana are planned and announcement will be made in January when the recordings are available for distribution in the US, India and abroad.
