Guest guest
Dear Sri Hari Bhaktaas, The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has issued the Organized Group Cabin Permit to the Vishva Madhva Sangha (VMS) to hold the Annual VMS Retreat in Organized Group Cabins Site 5 in Laurel Hill State Park near Pittsburgh and the Permit is valid from 2 pm on May 25 (Fri) to 11 am on May 28 (Mon, Memorial Day holiday). This is the same camp site in Laurel Hill State Park where we had gathered for the VMS Retreats and Mettilotsava in Sri Venkateshwara Temple in Pittsburgh area in the previous years. This year will be the 6th year VMS Annual Retreat and Mettilotsava. Sri Janardhan has established a Blog http://www.jitamitra.org/mett2006/ for discussions and planning the VMS Retreat and Mettilotsava. Please visit this site to see pictures of the previous VMS Annual Retreats as well as such useful information as distance and driving distance to Laurel Hill State Park from various locations, amenities in the rustic surroundings of this State Park etc. Please provide your feed-back and comments for planning and formating the VMS Retreat thru this Blog. We are seeking your enthusiastic support and help right from the beginning. All our Mettilotsavas and VMS Annual Retreats in the previous years had been very enjoyable and memorable spiritually, and we are looking for the repeat with as much improvements as humanly possible this year too, with our Lord's blessings. We will make further announcements in this List as we draw closer to the events in May. Until then, please visit Sri Janardhan's Blog to know of the discussions in the planning process, and if possible please extend your help in the planning and execution. Thanks.
