I would like to share my recent experience of Sri Guru Raghavendra's grace

that immensely helped me.

 

I have a well established, fabric import business in USA for over eleven

years. I source most of my goods in India and some in Europe.

 

Recently, one of the batches supplied by our regular supplier from India was

rejected due to inferior fabric quality. This is not a first or rare

experience to us. We informed our buyers accordingly delivery dates were

extended. We informed our supplier to reproduce another batch and courier it

at his earliest. Our supplier processed order on priority and advised us

shipment date as January 19, 2007.

 

On committed date Jan 19, 2007 our supplier handed over shipment to one of

our regular courier service companies and E-mailed us shipment tracking

number.

Using this tracking number we can track shipment progress at every segment.

 

On Jan 22, 2007 morning at 9.30am (8.00pm IST), web accessed tracking

results showed the time it was loaded on to aircraft and result read

" Shipment in transit. " Immediately we informed our customer the shipment is

in transit and it would be delivered by Jan 25, 07.

 

Daily, at the end of the day, we update our records of incoming shipments.

So, again at 5.00pm (3.30am IST, Jan 23, 07) we went online to see shipments

progress.

We were shocked and very disturbed to note that our shipment and many other

shipments were off-loaded from the aircraft due to over booking by airline

company. The next course of action was to lift goods by another private

airline to Bombay. From Bombay, after customs inspection, the goods were

scheduled to leave India. The entire exercise would normally take minimum

48hours. Plus time required to clear customs at arriving airport.

 

In all, with our earlier experience, we are anticipating at least seven to

eight days delay. This threw us in a very embarrassing situation as we can't

call the customer with these kind of unprofessional excuses. If we don't

deliver the goods on time we loose our credibility. We can afford to loose

orders but not our credibility, not even once, as there is no second chance

in the market!

 

I called local customer help reps., at courier company to discuss the issue.

They were helpless too as shipment was not yet airborne, and they have no

direct access as shipment was still lying on ground in foreign territory. It

was 6.00pm (4.30am IST, Jan 23, 07)

 

I was little stressed at this point. Hence, called it a day, leaving entire

burden of saving my reputation in Sri Guru Raghavendra's hand.

 

As usual, in the evening at home, after sayamSandhya karma, I prayed Rayaru.

Though our dharma is NOT TO pray for any materialistic gains, I had no other

go than to seek his divine help in this peculiar situation.

 

There was no change in shipment progress when I checked from home late in

the evening about 10.00pm (8.30am, IST, Jan 23, 07)

 

Next day, January 23, 07 around 11.00am (9.30pm IST, January 23, 07), per

our daily routine, my warehouse called me to let me know the shipments they

have received as I was in a meeting with one of our buyers in his office. I

couldn't believe when I heard the delayed shipment has already reached our

warehouse in New York!

I asked my associates to confirm with air waybill tracking number. It was

the same. Still I couldn't believe. I asked them to open the boxes to see

whether we have received the fabric we were waiting for. Yes, it was there!

I was dumbstruck!

 

Courier shipments from India to USA, door to door, if expedited, take about

four to five working days to reach. Under the circumstances, This is

undoubtedly Sri Rayaru's grace and his invisible helping hand which saved

our company's and my reputation.

 

Yes, miracles do happen even now. For those who have faith in Sri Hari Vaayu

and Gurugalu, there is no failure anywhere. There is always an invisible

helping hand, be it materialistic needs or Adhyathmic - That is Sri Rayaru.
