Sri Vyasaraja Seva Samithi celebrated the Aradhane of Sri Rajendra Theertharu on May 2nd, WED with great devotion and offered respects to the Yathigalu for his fruitful efforts in initiating and sustaining the Madhwa Siddantha across the Bharatha Khanda when it was required the most.

 

We had the presence of HH Sri Bhandarkeri Swamiji and a number of elite Vidwans, Pandits and Acharyas from all over. Few to mention are - Sri PrahladacharSri RamachandracharSri Piriyapatna Sheshagirirayaru

Sri Kambalur GururajacharSri Vyasanakere PrabhanjanacharSri Thirumalacharya KulkarniSri VenkateshacharSri Brahmanyachar and many more..

the programme was witnessed by close to 180 people who had gathered at the premises in the morning.

 

The Programme had discourses from Sri Prahladachar and Sri V Prabhanjanachar about the life, work and accomplishments of Sri Rajendra Theertharu and the subsequent Shishya parampare. It was very much evident that the Samithi wanted to erase all the false and erroneous myths about this yathigalu and are committed to bringforth the justifiable true History and Glory.

 

The gist is that Sri Rajendra Theertharu was the first desciple of Sri Vidyadhiraja Theertharu, who was given the devine responsibility of Desha Sanchara, Madhwa Matha Prachara, Vadi Khandane and Matha Sthapane. In his endeavour, Sri Rajendra Theertharu had three of the famous desciples Sri Vibhudendra Theertharu, Sri Vishnudasacharyaru and Sri Jayadhwaja Theertharu. He is more known for this jnana satra related programmes and the compositions done by his desciples - Vadaratnavali, Khandana Khandana, Vivarana Vidambana..etc. He is also known to have conduted Sudha Mangala for 9 times.

 

A booklet containing the details of his life and work was released on the same occassion.The book is uploaded to the File section of www./SriVyasarajaMutt

We also had Ashirvachana from Srigalu followed by Samsthana Pooje, Alankara Pankthi and Theertha Prasada to all. The programme continued later on with Vidwat Sabha Goshti

from the Pandits and Vidwans.
