Dear Haribhaktas, NamaskAra. I have the privilege & pleasure of informing you all that reknowned Madhwa Musician Sangeetha Kalanidhi T.K. Govinda Rao, (Gurugalu of Bombay Sisters & father of Smt Padmaja Kishore - a well known musician herself in our area and a deciple of

Shri Govinda Rao) is visiting USA by invitation from The Tyagaraja Aradhana Committee of Cleveland. Shri Govinda Rao will be giving a concert in Connecticut on 26th of May and will be honored with Life time achievement award by Kannada association in New York on June 2nd. He will be in Pittsburg area from June 3rd thru June 12th. Shri Govinda Rao will be in US until middle of September. This will be a great opportunity for all Madhwas to listen and enjoy this music maestro's renderings. We in California Bay area are planning on having two concerts, one on Shri Rayara aradhane function at Livermore & one in SanAtana Dharma Kendra. This is in addition to the one planned by South India Fine Arts (SIFA). I have herewith attached a brief write up about Shri T.K. Govinda Rao.
