[SriVyasarajaMutt] Sri Vyasaraja Theertharu - Anjaneya Temples.

Namaskara All,

 

I know about 2 such temples. 1 is in Doddaballapur

and the other one is in Aralumallige.

 

In the temple in Aralumallige, Nitya pooje is not

being done. It is done occasionally by the same

priest who does Pooje at Doddaballapur. There was no

pooje at the temple for a couple of years recently

since the priest passed away. Now his son has

volunteered his services at both these temples. When

I visited the temple in Aralumallige about 2 years

ago, I was told by the local people that there was an

attempt by a group of Advaita people to takeover the

management and worship of the temple and that they

were not allowed to do so by the local villagers.

Only Madhwas are allowed the privilage of offering

Nitya pooje at this temple.

 

I do not recollect the name and the contact details of

the priest, but can get it in a day or two.
