Guest guest
Hare Srinivasa ! Dear Hari Bhaktas, Some of us might me aware of APPANACHARYAR , a very devoted disciple of RAYARU. Rayaru sent him to a place called Bhiksalaya, a place near by Mantralaya to inform the devotees about the brindavana Pravesha. But he resisted saying he would like to be with him during Brindavan Pravesha.Rayaru said " The moment you reach me from Bhiksalaya,it will bring pride and fame to you ".Then he left for that place. We can reach that place only by crossing Thungbhadra river. While on his way back to Mantralaya,he was not able to cross the river because of the high floods. He then prayed RAYARU and composed the song " POORNA BODHA ".As he started composing , the TUNGABHADRA gave her way to him. But unfortunately by the time he reached MANTRALAYA ,the brindavan was built and he was not able to see RAYARU.He stopped compsoing the song which requires only one line to complete. He expressed his feelings to the RAYARU and prayed HIM. Suddenly a voice was heard and the devotees recognised the voice of RAYARU. The voice said " SAKSHI HAYAGREEVA STOTRA HEE" and this is the completion of that song. The meaning is whoever sings or hears this song for want of their desires to be fulfilled,SRI HAYAGREEVA DEVARU is the witness ( SAKSHI ) to fulfill those desires. RAYAYU completed the song composed by APPANACHARYAR with this line .By this leela he got pride and fame.Even now also we are talking about him. This is the first leela by RAYARU after Brindavana Pravesha. BUT BUT BUT BUT u all might be having a doubt , a very big doubt RAYARU used to perform MOOLA RAMA pooja daily without fail. Then why he told "HAYAGREEVA SAKSHI". RAYARU was chanting HAYAGREEVA Stotra when APPANACHARYAR came and expressed his feelings for not worshiping him before Brindavan Pravesha.so RAYAU took the name of HAYAGREEVA DEVARAU to favour his very devoted disciple; Actually this story can be told elaborately in a very different way.But i wanted to convey it in a precise manner so that it is easy to understand and interesting as well. Dear scholars, Please pardon me if u find either the message or its contents not correct. Also its my pleasure to know the mistakes. Hare Srinivasa !
