Summary

1) Poorvashrama Name - Raghunatha Nayaka, IndraMsha sambhootaru2) He was believed to be Arjuna in Dwapara Yuga and has listened to the Sriman Narayana Mahime from none other than Sri Narada Maharshigalu. He also is believed to have listened the entire sarva moola grantha directly from Sri Madhwacharyaru for his previous incarnation was an Ox, which used to carry all the granthas of Acharya.3) He is also known as Srimad Teekakruthpadaru, for his Tippani, Teeke to sarvamoola Granthagalu4) Srimannyaya Sudha is his magnum opus5) He is believed to be the No.2 after Sri Madhwacharyaru in Madhwa Siddhanta in terms of the extent of his work, tippani, etc6) He has been described by Sri Vyasarajaru as

"edurArai guruvE samarArai, madana gOpAla priya jayaraya"7) Some of his other works are - Tatvaprakashike, Mayavada khandana Teeka, nyaya vivarana Teeka...total of 22 Tippanis all for Sri Madhwacharya's work.8) He also has done some of his own compositions - vadavali, pramana paddathi, padyamala, shathaparadha sthothra, adhyathma tarangini etc.9) He did most of his work in a cave which is in Malkhed to be seen even today, there seems to be a confusion about the location of Brindavana, but most of the historic evidences seem to point directions towards Malakhed 10) This space is too small to write about this great yathigalu, please read more about him in the portals and books.
