Minutes of Shri Appavara arAdhana at San Jose, California

Dear Haribakhtas,

 

Let us all hope " Shri Ibharamapura Appavara " arAdhane that took place

on 26th August, 2007 in San Jose, California served the purpose put

forth by Shri Hari. At the outset , we thank all devotees who have

participated and got blessed by Shri Appavaru. We are grateful to

all Srimathis, Sriyuths and Chiranjeevis who have helped directly or

indirectly and put in extra mile and made this puNya kArya a

memorable to us.

 

Some of the auspicious moments of the arAdhana can be recollected

from the following.

 

Day started with SnAna-Sandya-StOotra paTana. StOtra paTana include

Shri Narayana Varma, Shri Hari vAyu stuti, Shri Raghavendra stOtra

etc. Subsequently sAligrama pooje was performed by Shri Harish

Vasudev. We are really blessed to witness the sAligrama pooje.

Concurrently the nala pAka was initiated by Smt. Sandya and team

with shuddha madI in order to prepare food for dEevara naivendya

and brahmins. We are fortunate to have Shri Krishna Pandurangi and

Shri Prasanna Krishna as alankAra brahmins. Without any doubt, we

felt the sannidAna of Shri ParashurAma dEvaru in both of them.

 

Alongside we had an inspiring pravachana on Shri Appavara mahime by

Shri Hari Narayana Vittala dAsaru from Hyderabad, India, that really

paved the way for j~jnAna, bhakthi and vairAgya. Recording of this

pravachana shall be made public once our request in this regard is

approved by the concerned.

 

Chanting of stOtras and bhjane during MahA MangaLarathi, pAda pooje

and bhojana to alankAra brahmins have certainly made the event Hari

pritarthya.

 

After brief interval for thirtha-prasAda to devotees, we had thought-

provoking pravachana on Shri Jayathirtharu by Shri Krishna

Pandurangi. He clearly brought out the essence of " NyAya Sudha " one

of the epic works of Shri Jayathirtharu. Finally the event was ended

with MangaLa and distribution of phala-mantrakshathe from alankAra

brahmins.

 

We take this opportunity to convey our vote of thanks to Shri Satya

for his unstinted effort in guiding us throughtout this satkArya.
