They reviewed all the articles published on 2nd Sept and after brainstorming session suggested the following: Article is an offence and invites criminal proceedings. 1. Filing FIR and PIL (Public interest litigation) will not be taken seriously by the court and must be avoided. 2. Filing a civil case is time consuming, we need to bear the court fees and culprit may get general warning and not the punishment 3. Since the author has made false statements against the particular religious philosophy and has hurt the feelings of the majority of particular community it invites prosecution under section IPC 295 A, 153 A, 298 etc.. Also Madhwa Peetadhipatis can initiate Defamation suite under IPC 499. 4. As first step we must issue lawyer notice asking for explanation and justification for the article. If he fails to respond within one week we can enclose the Lawyer notice and file a criminal case. But the catch is Lawyer can only issue notice after receipt of instructions from the President or Secretary of registered body. This once again indicates that we must have all groups reporting to one common body which will be registered under the law. We must immediately identify the organization and the person under whom further legal proceedings will be undertaken Subsequently we met Sri A.Nagasampigeacharya at his residence and requested him to take the permission of Sri Pejavar matt swamiji to go ahead. He spoke to Swamiji. Sri Sri Pejavar Swamiji said the publisher has already spoken to him and has agreed to issue an apology. Swamiji has suggested us to visit his press and find out whether he has issued any apology or not in the subsequent editions. If No then go ahead with filing a case. Sri.A.Nagasampige Acharya is member of Pejavar matt committee where in retired Advocates Sri Bhagavattaya and others are also members. He has agreed to call a meeting to take further decision on filing complaint. Today I have updated Sri Satyadhyanachar Katti of Uttaradimatt. He has agreed to join us on Sunday and address the gathering. If you are real Madhwa and believer of Madhwa philosophy , then you are requested to come with your respective groups and assemble at Poorna Pragna Vidyapeetha Sabhagruha at 1130 AM on Sunday 23rd Sept 07 to unanimously support the group initiatives. Sri. A.Nagasampigeacharya and Sri Satyadhayna Katti acharya will address the session. Please visit in large numbers.
