Dear Haribhakthas,By the grace of Sri Hari, Vayu and gurugalu, we have decided to celebrate Jagannatha Dasaru's (illustrious author of the Dvaita literary Jewell, Harikathamruthasara) and its translator, Sri Sankarshana Wodeyaru's "smaraNE Dhina" on Saturday October 13, in our home at 15 Tall Oaks Drive, Monroe Township NJ.Puthige Matha Shrigalu, Shri Shri Sugunendra Swamiji has kindly agreed to grace the occasion and perform Mahapooje to Vittala Devaru. We thank you one and all who attended the Mahapooje by Sri Puthige

Matha Swamiji as well as Jagannatha Dasaru’s and Sri Sankarshna

Wodeyar’s Smarane Dhina in our home.

 

Special thanks to Sri Janardhan, who persisted and procured not only

the right quantity and quality of groceries but also from the right

source and brought it to our home, to Sri Bindu Madhavan for

organizing and leading the team of vegetable cutting (he did not even

spare SRIPI!!!), to Sri Narasimhan for his help in sound and light

system, GV for leading the serving team, to Sri Keshavamurthy and Smt

Suma who helped us in washing the utensils, to Smt. Jayanthi for

leading the team to clean and Sri Kehav Rao for the impromptu

sessions both in the morning, while waiting for Swamiji’s arrival as

well as in the afternoon. Srip’s account of Sankarshna Wodeyar’s

brief life history was well narrated. In short, it turned out to be

an excellent event.

We pray and hope that you will continue to show the same enthusiastic

support in the coming years as we celebrate the aradhane of these two

great Tatva Vada philosophers/thinkers.
