Wed, 2 Jan 2008 23:56:02 -0800 (PST) " Sudhir Kashyap " <svkashyap18 Appeal:- Shri. Vittala Mandira & Raghavendra Swamy Brindavana Sannidhana, Rajajinagar MadhwaYuvaParishat , svbm Shri. Raghavendra Swamy Brindavana Sannidhana, 3rd Block, Rajajinagar has been in establishment for approximately 21 years. The Sannidhana's existence and Rayaru's presence goes back to 1987 when, after a series of incidents in his life, Shri. Ananda Rao (founder member of the Matha and the primary archakaru as well) had a dream and was instructed by Rayaru himself to forego all his material engagements, and that he should consecrate the Mruttika Brindavana of Rayaru and have his whole family engaged in the service of Hari, Vayu and Gurugalu. The Brindavana was consecrated by Shri. 1008 Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejavara Matha a year later, and has been active ever since. All Madhva festivals and Rayara Aradhane are celebrated on a grand scale every year in the Matha premises with the moral and physical support of many devotees in and around North Bengalooru. In an effort to expand their activities and also be able to provide the opportunity to more number of Bhakta's, the Mandira has envisaged and embarked on a few projects, which are outlined below (and are also shown in the attached brochure) that requires the Sahayoga of all Bhakta's to their extent and yatha shakthi possible. a. Construction of a full fledged kitchen facility (adigemane) on the ground floor with all Madi amenities. b. Construction of a new Bhojana Shala on the first floor for regular Anna Dana activities. Presently, due to small space, the Anna Dana is conducted outside the Matha premises with a covered tent and it becomes a hassle when it is raining, and also during festivals and Rayara Aradhane days, when the devotee influx is very huge. c. Construction of a new Pravachana Mandira on the second floor for providing discourses by religious scholars on a daily basis. Shri. Rao and family had requested me personally to put forward this appeal to all the Madhva and Raghavendra Swamy devotees and help towards the successfull endeavour of the above envisioned projects. The overall cost of the project runs upto about Rs. 30 lakhs (approximately $76,000). Monetary contribution's (however small) would be greatly appreciated and will be used for this noble cause. Devotees are also requested to make non-monetary contributions in the form of Wood, Cement, Iron and Steel bars, etc. that can be directly used for the construction activity. Attached with this email is a brochure (pamplet) in kannada from them regarding this cause. All devotees in India are requested to contact the following for any further information or clarification.
